Requirements For The Depth And Clearance Of The Optical Fiber Cable
The depth of the optical fiber cable, the clearance between the optical fiber cables, and the clearance between the other pipelines and the crossings shall comply with the following requirements:
1. The direct penetration depth of the optical fiber cable (from the ground to the optical fiber cable) is 0.7 m.
2. The optical fiber cable skin to the foundation of the underground building is 0.6 meters, but the minimum is less than 0.3 meters.
3. When the off-axis optical fiber cable and the optical fiber cable are close to each other, the minimum clearance is 0.1 m; the optical fiber cables of different departments are 0.5 m from each other.
Fourth, the minimum clearance of optical fiber cable when crossing each other is 0.5 meters, and the interval of one meter before and after the intersection can be reduced to 0.25 meters by the partition, and the crossing of the pipe is not specified;
5. The distance between the optical fiber cable and the heat pipe, gas and oil pipeline is 2 meters; the net distance at the intersection is 0.5 meter.
When laying directly on the optical fiber cable, the bottom of the trench must have a good ground layer. There should be no hard materials such as stones or bricks. Otherwise, it should be covered with soft soil or sand layer of 100 mm thick. The concrete protection board shall cover the width of the optical fiber cable by 50 mm each.
Optical fiber cable manufacturer's suggestion: Bricks can be used instead of concrete protection boards if conditions are not allowed.
